Surely the push is going from the publisher therefore once this is disabled the subscriber no longer receives the snapshot data..or am I missing something ??

Hi,
Does this mean that sometimes it works. Once you've applied the snapshot, the merge agent will manage the records. Have you changed the identity ranges at all ??

That is correct.
The only time a complete snapshot is created is when you reinitialize the subscriber...in this case you are not

Yeah..did that..
I actually reinstalled SQL server 🙁
I could uninstall, so I had to manually remove sql server..but even after a total reinstall it still shows as 6.5

Use procedures to do this.
Drop the subscribers to the Article...sp_Dropsubscribers..is that the one ?

Oh..to add, to will lose data entered at the subscriber while the table is dropped. But then you would only do this when there were no changes being made.
