why not just use the SQL statement you use to populate your report to populate your data grid?

Can you elaborate a little bit on what you mean by "the left and right limits of the report objects are aligned"?

I have noticed this also and would be interested if anyone has any insight on this however, you may want to post this over in the Reporting Services section.

you might also use the ISNULL function in your stored procedure to return a 0 instead of a NULL
