Yes, it's a pain. For now I think I have to give the user much more power than they need.
A co-worker suggested upgrading the database. A good suggestion....

We are using Idera's SQl Safe. It would be good if you are correct.

I use Idera's SQl Safe. Nice compression, fast backup and restore. Saved my bacon a few times.

The article says 64 bit sql 2005 Standard supports 32 TB of memory.
To get this much memory, is it necessary to install windows 2003 64 bit enterprise?
