This would be from sql2000 to 2005. Your link indicates the user had difficulties.

On my desktop the servers are displayed in the Object Explorer. When I view the registered servers, all I see is the database engine.
I'll do some homework later.

In 2005 it is the object explorer window. The registered servers are displayed there. Hope that helps.
