I know for my SQL2k5 servers I have to buy 2008 licenses. Those should cover 2000 as well right?

This would be on my development server. NOt used for production purposes at all. Only used for my analysts to design and write the code and test it....

the mdf is the biggest file the log is only at 1 mb right now

I don't see a syslogins but I do see a sysxlogins. Is that the correct one? I've been using it but didn't think that was the correct table.

got it - I deleted the Diff backup file and ran the job and it worked as it should...............

what a pain in the butt

Full backups are done every sunday. THey worked with no issues. The t-log backups work just as well also. I deleted the diff backup from before...
