presumably the "ThreeLetterISOLanguageName" property in the CultureInfo object is not actually what it is called but what MS uses (which is sometimes but not always a three letter ISO language...

Really easy question, but the explanation puzzles me. As far as I can see it is no implicit conversion, just a pure integer division.

though I had a doubt over
select isnull ( convert (char(3),1.0/9) ,'*')
-- or
select isnull ( convert (char(3),1/9.0) ,'*')
and it clears out as...
