could you be able to use NLB with DB mirroring? I also have the same problem: multiple applications uses DB and it will be hustle to change all of them...

I got following error when i used SSIS

[Transfer Jobs Task] Error: Execution failed with the following error: "The SELECT permission was denied on the object 'sysjobs_view', database 'msdb', schema 'dbo'.".

I actually resolved the problem. not sure about performance. I'll add my comments later when I get results. thank you all.
