What version of Access are they using? Do they have an MDB file or an ADP file?

You can easily create an Access Data Project that is linked to whatever tables, views and procs the user has permission to and then let them use all of nice tools...

Thanks, but this approach only works for one table at a time. what I would like to be able to do is view the descriptions for all of the tables...

Thanks, the milestones are individual records. I was thinking that there might be some way with a UDF to include data from other records in the computed column

according to Daniel Reib (MSFT) in the Reporting Services newsgroup this is caused by a bug and they are working on a patch, the only fix at this time is to contact PSS...
