I've checked the logs and don't see anything other than what I already posted. I don't shrink anything and run checkdb everytime this has happened...

I found him in another group as Admin and have no clue how or why he is there.

He is not a member of sysadmin role.
He is in one group, but it has read only and that is it.
It must be something that carried over from the other...

I just figured it out and you were correct.
It was set up to the secondary and NOT the primary.
Changed it back to primary and it works. Thanks!

I would agree and my comments about the comp code are 100% based of what I have actually heard from a couple of organizers.
