i had a similar problem, but have got it to work

connection manager>add a new OLE db connection>

new>Microsoft Jet 3.51 OLE db provider>

put the db name in the Database file name...

got it!

sp2 solved it and my ellipsis is there

got it to work...it was me being stupid...SSAS wasn't even switched on for the server

got the DBAs to install it and give me the rights to create a new db...
