Simple question folks - upgrading our SQL 2005 SSRS production box to SQL 2012.

Obviously I've got a fixed budget but I'm wondering

(a) how much RAM you guys...

I would avoid excel.

However reporting services is a perfectly acceptable dashboarding tool. Thats what we use....

When done creating and testing the SSIS package on your workstation, be sure to change in Solution Explorer the Debugging properties back to Run64BitRuntime to true prior...

Apart from the other stuff that has been said i would also suggest that from what i have seen the number one cause of the log file becoming big is...
