The SP runs through the pre-reqs without an issue, but once it gets to the available instances screen it does not allow the new instance to be selected.

Is that with a RAID5 disk array or RAID10?

I think more info might be needed to best answer this.
1. Are you running this process on a recurring basis?
2. Are all rows in the destination table deleted each time...

You need to filter on the join if selecting only specific records in the left join.

I did have Transactional Replication setup at one point, but i removed it in favor of Snapshot Replication. Transactional Replication is not supposed to be setup on this database.

Ok after auditing successful logins, the local admin (SQLAdmin) shows as being able to successfully login, even though it is not setup as a SQL user.
Login succeeded for user 'Server\SQLAdmin'....
