ok..found the solution..my colleague actually found it...he had to drop the procs first before copying them. I did find an an article on this website..thanks..

i dont see copy objects task..i see transfer database objecst taks..i did use that..it doesnt work

u said that u are able to see the jobs when u try to login using other credential...so i dnt think it has to do anything with your SQL instance...you...

hmm...it rlly shdnt matter whether u r acessing the server from ur laptop or other machine bcoz i assume that your laptop will have only the client tools installed...i could...

you can find the TSQL command at MS website for 2005 it will show at the bottom when u open a query window...

not sure...did u check if you have the sp 2 installed for 2005 and sp4 for 2000?...

i had the same error few days back..i wasnt able to configure at port 25 for some reasons..i used port 26 and it worked fine..but we do have a exchange...

ok kool..i will try and let you know...so u mean to say if i change the schema it will also assign all the primary and foreign keys to the table...
