Well the first one is dedicated one and the second one where is moved the files also has different LDF's on the same LUN.

i think 5 spindles..but both the LUNS are exactly the same..

thanks SQL Guru, i did some analysis on IO stalls but the result is very weird. There are equal number of reads and writes done on tempdb on a RAID...

thanks...did anyone look at the script and see if it helps? many of our processes are highly dependent on tempdb and currently we have temdb data and log file...

thanks..but i am still lost...i do not have any space issues..my only concerned is i should be able to make a decision that moving tempdb log file to another drive...
