We use SQL Diagnostics Manager to monitor our 2000/2005/2008 servers. After using it 2 or 3 years, we are still very pleased.

When I do a 'select * from sys.tables' on a database with views, only the tables are returned, not the views. This is on SQL 2005. What am I doing...

I have one question about the workaround. If a person has SecurityAdmin, could they give themselves permission to alter the LimitSecurityAdmin trigger?

As already noted, the model database can be set to read-only. Before posting a question, how about actually trying it out?
