How to make sure whether auto update statistics is ON in rebuilding index step?

My question why dont they install SSMS on that server.what is the reason may be?

RDP is allowed for that server. If it is not installed how can i able to connect to mgmt studio of that server through other server

the logins for spids are same but they are not sa or sqlserveragent

There are no other errors in error log. I went through the error log. Any way let us c if it prompts again.
