sql browser is running fine..

i am able to connect with instancename with port number but i need to connect without mention the port number.

changed port number from 1433 to 1440.

No errors found in log.

i try to connect locally.

changed port number via sqlserver configuration.

Restarted the sqlserver service.

trying to connect sqlserver instace via SSMS.

do i need to update the port number in any where else ?

I need this kind of sqlserver2000 scripts for below .

1.Jobs

2.Logins

3.Users

4.Linked servers

Can some one provide these scripts.
