Sorry what I meant was that 5+ dev sharepoint boxes would be using the same SQL server, so there will be 50+ databases on the server.

Attached is an example from one of my servers.
Each one of those application pools has its own settings for recycling

If you look in IIS manager under "Application Pools" you should see one called ReportServer or something like that.
If you go to properties on that, you will see recycle options...
