    I was wonerding how this would affect SQL Server 2000 in general since the default is to have "Automatic ANSI to OEM Conversion" option checked/enabled.

    it is in the Logs but I have them re-cycling daily to keep them small. Thus no records > 7 days past.

    any other ideas ?

    So I don't need to create the database before hand and I can put the .MDF and .LDF files whereever I want ?
