Yes, I installed everything. SQL Server 2008 R2 Express with Advanced Settings.

That's exactly what I am saying, the 'reporting service' is not in the connect list.

I don't know what's wrong or if I set it up wrong.

In the books online it says that the perms are performed through ssms. That you can change the server type to reporting server
