Yes as I thought, I missed the name change from Failover Clustering to AlwaysOn Failover Clustering.
If you look at the 2012 licensing guide it says AlwaysOn High Availability is not...

I was thinking AlwaysOn was the name of the new High Availability features of SQL 2014....

There are ways to make it affect your salary. Just suggest its a KPI or objective, take the exams and use it for leverage for more cold hard cash.

Good question. Assuming that those changes use DDL under the hood, they would be written to the transaction log and replicated.

Just my opinion. There are is a good reasons to take an MCSE, however I don' think it 'directly' affects salary.
If you contract you will do a lot more job...
