Hi Mike,
in this context 'Fail' can mean many things - either the sproc did not complete or if it is say a procedure that searches our database for known issues...

I'm changing the date to chars to avoid the problem of 1/jan/2010 at 1pm being different from 1/jan/2010 at 3pm etc.
My brain is too muddled by now to analyse...

Ok....
Perhaps your database actually does have garbage in the contact_info column? Lots of people type junk into an email address column because they dont want to receive marketting info.
