Command run successfully, do I need to restore full backup then all log backups ?

Sorry, my colleague provided me the wrong informations, he never truncated the log file. .LDF file never got truncated. Is there any chance of recovery ?

The last time he truncated the log on Friday at 8:00PM, I understand I can not go back. Is there any chance of data recovery of 8:00PM onwards?

One of my colleague used to truncate manually, database is still attached to SQL and yes, it is still listed if I fire select * from sys.databases.

But I have to take the tail log backup, so how it is possible ?

state_desc for this DB is RESTORING and if I query a table (details) on this db i get following error:-

Msg 208, Level 16, State 1, Line 1

Invalid object name 'details'.

I am unable to query on that database.

When I restored the db with recovery option it restored successfully. But it is still showing restoring mode. I checked SQL error logs but no error is logged there pertaining...

I tried this but the situation is still remaining same. I restored db with recovery option.
