System Restore worked for about 3 minutes, then the company policies repushed all updates to my machine and it broke again.

*eats frustration*

During 4 days of absence, windows updates for VS2015 were installed. I have just done a system restore and it looks like all errors are gone.
I'm now doing investigation...

Am I the only thinking this is a serious design flaw?

I don't know if it's deliberate or not but typically for your own management type of application they encourage the use of SMO since that's what it was designed...

An update.

I've never managed to fix this. I've tried many, many, different ways of automating SSMS. But it seems to be designed not to allow for this behavior on PURPOSE....
