Thanks All for your comments.. I've planned to go with the Active/Passive cluster setup, as there is only one instance running at the moment on the current standalone box.

Current version of SQL is SQL Server 2005, Enterprise Edition.

Try sending the mail without the attachment. See if you get it. In case you get it, the attachment size may be too large.

If you don't get the mail....

You need to create a new job for the same. In the job's step insert the sp you need to run.

You can then schedule it using the schedule tab...
