the distribution group works fine if Exchange permissions are set for "everyone" to email it. what we're trying to do is lock down the receiving permissions...

Ha! That's great. Usually the network admins are worried us DBAs are going to cause server trouble! Interesting.
Hopefully the issue will be resolved with upcoming SPs.

You should create a sql account that only handles job ownership. give it the correct permissions (a scaled-down sa account).
if your domain controller goes down your job will still...

No errors at all. You close the editor for the ForEach loop action and you open it back up and no change! Very weird.
