I have not used it in a long time, but TOAD is a very powerful tool to use. It is great if you are a developer too.

I just shut down the SQL instance and looked in the System log in the Event viewer. I don't see that EventID at all.

If you include the underscore within brackets, "%SP[_]", it will look for just that character.
