I understand what a named instance is, but I'm not familiar with UAC and where/how to ensure that it's disabled.

One last thing...
I've just noticed that SS 2008 Developer Edition has ALL the functionality. Given that I'm building this for myself, and intend being the only user, this could work....

I noticed this option, but figured that it would have global impact. It'd be great if there was a code option to discretionally suppress output within a SQL script/procedure.
