i go to the setup -> installer->option
It shows processor type x86.

server is 32 bit. The DVD i received does not say 32 or 64. But it has directory for 32 and 64. I am assuming it is by default picking...

there is two reason why it is not working.
1. you are overwriting the transaction file.... do not add "init" option while taking the trasaction log backup.
