Hi,
I got something similar, but during the night process, so I am doing FULL backup before data migration, changing db to SIMPLE, importing all stuff,changing back to FULL, and backup....

did you check the file? collations....maybe there some junk or invalid characters? I had some problems with bcp - files format, files data, separators, new lines, format files...Try to break...

I am just guessing... Try to play with connections and authentication, make it mixed (windows and SQL), refresh everything, create new connections... Something is there just not finding each other... Create...

I don't think there is anything to do with the space, it says "of either a thread exit or an application request" - something interrupted your backup...Can it be another...

put SP and other stuff on the couple disks and show to couple users how to do this and just go one by one, I had to do something similar,...

hmm...I got the same, but there was something else :
New log file 'd:\MSSQL\Data\TEST_log.LDF' was created and the database was attached...
I am thinking - I got once the database was detached...

p johnson, you are saying "the one fix - to reset db connectionfrom their end".... can it be something is going on on their side? and connection is breaking...sounds like...

I changed to 8000 - the same output. I thought about OSQL limitations, maybe it's the output something...limit... can not find any option or property to modify it

Using the cursor the SP is printing for me all command lines for every database I have, then I am just running this printed output as SP.
