It's not the index that's the problem. In fact, there's already a clustered index. It's the Primary Key constraint.

No, we were not able to solve it. We've reinstall the OS, the motherboard, the CPU, the RAM...it's crazy. This isn't the only problem the server was having.

Huh...weird. I'm connecting to another 2008 (non-R2) instance with this same SSMS with no problems. I'll try it specifically with a lower version.
