Using BULK INSERT won't work if you there are variable number of columns in the data file.
Something like:
fld1A,fld2A,fld3A
fld1B,fld2B,fld3B
fld1C,fld2C,fld3C,fld4C
Oddly the OLD DTS data bumps/bulk insert tasks were fine with the above.
