Another poorly screened question, and incorrect answer.

The Microsoft article mentioned http://support.microsoft.com/Default.aspx?kbid=309422 does not say to exclude backups, and DOES add the directory c:\Windows\Cluster to exclude. And the Backup file...

I feel that many ppl in the US are leaving IT, or deciding not to get involved in the first place because of the challenges from overseas (and imported) cheap...

FYI DBCC PINTABLE is not supported in SQL 2005

If you want to keep the command the same as it was in 2000...

Kind of bogus question. If you use Notification Services, each "application" is a service of its own also. How do you quantify that?
