I need to disable temporary because we need to upgrade one of the DB and can't be disturbed by any backup.

I guess I will use ' disable job' because this job there are multiple schedule.
regular backup job... back DB and log

I have the similar problems the log grows...
so I create a job to shrink the log file and run once a week.

it doesn't give me any data only say the commands is completed succesfully.

Thanks for the tip.
I just add extra CONVERT(varchar,getdate(),103) as today in my proc.
I thought I can just easily grab the datetime functionality in VS2005 unfortunately I can't...

Finally I found the solution.
I have to use CASE and SUM
then in RS I create a report without wizard.
