I discovered that my Object Data Source in my app had held an old l;imit of 500 character instead of the 5000.

Regardless, I still am wondering how I can retain...

If you want a clean database (no data in any tables), use "Generate Scripts" in Management Studio (Query Analyzer for SQL 2000).

Right click the database -> Tasks -> Generate...

I went to Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Services. Relative to SQL, I only see:

(2) instances of SQL Server (those are the Outlook and Accounting Express instances)

1 line of SQL Server...

I have done that. Running SKUUPGRADE=1 was how I finally was able to use SSMS instead of the Express version.

BTW, I can not find any SS Agent running...
