    You can Remote Desktop in and start perfmon locally?

    We use different domain here, I just ran "Performance" with Run As under different account

    connect to a SQL Server, and...

    SQL is good at managing its own memory so I would not try to second guess it as to how much it needs, or risk throttling the OS...

    My preference is to set the max memory and let SQL manage the rest.
