I spoke too soon. It still stops randomly. It did about 60 of the 70 databases and stopped. No error, just it just quit.

The service account is a local admin. Full permission to the LOG folder.

I just tried a new password and a new user. So bad password yields bad password message. So far so good.

It's using the same username/pass as the SQL server itself which starts. Not a password issue.

I've reinitialized, but the snapshot just sits there like a bump on a pickle, and the distribution job keeps running. I've also tried recreating the subscription, and removing the publication...
