I agree with the SSC Rookie's post. sp_OAGetProperty is very soon to get deprecated. We shall replace such codes with CLR functions.

Try BULK INSERT using the arguments: ROWS_PER_BATCH or BATCHSIZE to a min no. of rows and this will reduce the logging as the one batch is treated as one transaction....
