I told them there is no reason to do that for every column and every table ... but they insist.

Are both instances of SQL Server the same version 2K/2K5/2K8 ??

Are they at the same patch level ??

Verify that both instances are configured the same.

Might be a security issue ......

Create a procedure that creates the db for them, they just have to pass in db name.

you can specify the location and any database file specs you want them to...
