the server is in SQL Server and Window Authentication Mode Since the DB is accesed by NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM which is in built login...to check the connection i used Window authentication...

If there are no login failure messages in the SQL Server error log, this is either because you've not configured it to log failed logins
