Answering myself ... 😉 ... it looks CRYSTALDISKMARK is designed for root drives, not mount points (someone correct me if I am wrong)
But this question pointed me to SQLIO....

Yes i would. Commonly you would use mount points to get round the drive limitations of the OS, but i think that mount points help to keep everything...
