I also agree with Gail and again test everything throughly before applying DTA recommendations. I have only use the ones with significant improvements in the past!

I had the same issue using Netbackup vs. the Enterprise edition awhile back. After we did a backup it would not truncate the log? So we had to due manually....

For security purpose you should not use SA, should have user(s) assign to that role. On all of my SQL Server boxes I completely remove SA from the logons and...

Let us know what kind of performance boost as the result of putting TempDB on the SSD's! I read about this awhile back but didn't hear of anyone implementing....

Have you tried the DAC connection? or Dedicated Access Connection?

Also the value of the key should be the exact name of the instance!
Get that value by doing a SELECT @@servername!
