Oddly written procedures shouldn't cause any problems with replication.... What are the errors?
There were missing parameter errors in the develloped sp...
Also some problems with 2 different sp (with spelling...

Because with the initialising of the replication, we are getting database errors, bad coded procedures etc...
We've tried to setup the replication on different ways, but we are still holded by...

I've the same problem.
We will implement log shipping between 2 untrusted servers (other domains)...
It's only the share that makes it impossible?

Seriously, what happens if someone drops the table that stores those photos? Or accidentally deletes half the table? How do you expect to recover without backups?
That was my question...

So (assuming no backups are needed) I can use following command:
BACKUP DATABASE Blob TO DISK = N'nul'
So no actual backup is taken...?

This database contains mostly photo's uploaded by an application.
The decision to choose mirroring is already taken before I started.
Mirroring was good for business. Backups were not necessary.
So I only need...

No we are not taking any backups (our 'backup' is the mirrored db)...
And if we need to take log backups, I need to apply those log backups to the mirror...
