Grasshopper and I agree.
Converting crystal reports by hand is tedious and error prone - you will miss stuff for sure.
Automatic conversion is far better even if you have to...

Found where they moved it to: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-US/library/aa964127(v=sql.90)
It was written for SQL 2005, though a lot of it is still relevant if you're doing manual conversion.

You should try http://www.crystalconversions.com, they're a Microsoft Business Intelligence Partner that you can find at: http://www.microsoft.com/bi/en-us/partners/pages/CrystalConversions.aspx
They give you free conversions so you can try before...

If you are converting a bunch of crystal reports to RDL you should look at CrystalConversions.com
It converted your if/then/else to:
