Same here...There is only option for data files..but about trans files..I am not aware about it...There must we some way...and if there is not, then it's one more drawback of...

Let me give more details on my question..

..We can give the path for default data files..But in my environment.,I want to give seperate...

To see property of the database the default user "dbo" on that database should have to be associated with proper login...Go to security tab of that database and locate dbo...

Create a maintenance plan with Check Database integrity task ..and put a notification on the job that when it fails it will send you an email..Whenever the DBCC Checkdb gives...

Here's what we got from further investigation...the backup files are there and backup is also taken but then the job runs for so so long....should it be any issue with...

Nicholas is right, the file should be there in log directory.:)

Go to that physical server and try finding sqlagent.out and errorlog.txt files from windows search..May be that can help...just make sure that they are for the same instance....
