The average time that a page stays in memory is 9 hours, 17 minutes and 55 seconds. Anything better than 5 minutes (300 seconds) is considered to be good.

I have to second fhooglander's suggestion. We, too, backup a 400+GB db every night using Red Gate's SQL Backup and it only takes about 30 minutes. Restores take about that...
