I am not sure why auto close is set to true. The DB was a restore trial from a sql server express database. Must have gotten set to that on...

That error was in the history log. There were no erorrs in the sql log that I can find.

Auto close is set to true. It varies from a couple minutes to over a half hour.

I am not clear about what you are asking.
If I script the restore that worked I get this:
