Just a thought as I haven't upgraded to SP3 yet. Have you run the SP3 installer on your PC to apply any fixes and patches to the local SSMS install?

What are the agreed SLAs with the business? With that information you can start to build a system to support their expectations and requirements.

Just be careful manually configuring modern arrays like that. They aren't really designed for it and you could heavily impact availability. These arrays do a lot of Magic spreading out...
