I hope , If we are taking copy only back up on the primary server it wont break log shipping.
Full backup will change LSN so that next t-log backup...

If there is no logshpping in place, Better to truncate the log after backup. Log will grow due to heavy DML operations on the tables/objects.
There may be a huge space...

After establishment of logshipping if we took the full back up of the database from the primary server this will sure breaks the Log shipping.

DBCC updateusage will corrects the rows, used pages, reserved pages, leaf pages and data page counts for each partition in a table or index.
Better to check fragmentation and rebuild...

Having both publisher and scubscriber on the same instance is not a good idea as per high avilability model. However this will work.
We can configure for testing puerposes.

Go for merge replication.
Only thing you need to check for application as it will add one extra unique row so that it can sync both live and replicated DB.

The More DB'S you put will not be a problem. I suggest to Check any agents are continuosly in sync. Monitor jobs which will run for long time.

We cant downgrade the database versions.
We can generate the script and excute on the lower versions

Taking backups wont change the model of the database untill script mentions to do so.

If job is started by the instance we can't start the same job with another instance.
