But how to pass the parameter to reportviewer? any custom function you'r talking about?

In Design Layout , u will see there are three tabs, 1.Data 2. Layout and 3. preview . Go to Data Tabs. Click on Refresh icons and the Run icons....

I used =FormatDateTime(Parameters!StartDate.Value)

it will work in US as per date format "mm/dd/yyyy"

But how same date format will dsiplay for user...
